The best thing about Bryant Park is access - to the NY Public (really privately funded) Library, and also FREE Internet access. That park is always hopping from Fashion Week to David Blaine's magical feats. Since it's winter, the park has been tranformed into a skating rink and it's FREE. Well, not completely free - you do have to pay $7.50 for skate rentals, but use of the Pond is FREE.

Once you're there, you'll marvel at the surroundings - The Fetes de Noel. It may be chilly, but you'll warm up quickly.
