Unless your girlfriend or spouse is an avid sports fan which all of my past girlfriends were not, then I'd avoid sports related dates except perhaps attending a sporting event because that's more of an experience. If you're an Eagles (or NFL) fan like myself, Sundays were always a point of tension because it was 3 hours away from my ex-wife that could not be justified in her mind. Therefore, I exhort all of you to sacrifice some of your sports craze because there's always ESPN Sportscenter to give you the highlights. And I know the Park Avenue Country Club is a fun place to watch the games, it's certainly not a date place by any means. Go there with the dudes, not with the ladies. A bit of sacrifice and some quality time with the lady will go a long way for the long term.
