Back from the left coast having spent a ton in Vegas and being drenched in LA. Happy New Year to all ... new beginnings and that is what I desparately need. So to start off the year in a festive manner, a little latin always spices up my life. If I fail to make reservations during the week and I'm pressed for places to eat on a Friday evening, I'll occassionally go Tapas and Sangrias.

A few spots in Manhattan that I've eaten at, but certainly not the exhaustive list of Tapas places: El Cid, Flor de Sol, La Paella, Pipa, Bolo, Xuntas,and Bar Jamon. Each restaurant is quite different from one another but it's actually a great date. A wide selection of tapas in concert with Sangria always made it a fun night, even on rainy nights like tonight.
