Near the meatpacking district is a dimly lit wine bar called Turks & Frogs. You walk into the front room which has a bar in it with very friendly and helpful bartenders (hard to find sometimes in NYC). There is a back room, which is also small, but totally different with warm lighting and antique-y wooden furniture. The walls are covered in antique/vintage decor, some of which is a bit gruesome looking, others are non-descript.

If you're not into the decor, just remember you're there for the wine and it's a great selection.
